Commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence

All employees of BPS East Sumba Regency commemorated the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence with a flag-raising ceremony led by the Head of BPS East Sumba Regency, Imelda Sandrawati Ambot; participants wore traditional attire from various regions (August 17). During the event, the *Satyalancana Karya Satya* award was also presented to employees who have served at BPS for 10 years.

This year's commemoration carries the theme "A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia," calling upon all Indonesians to uphold national sovereignty, foster justice across all aspects of life, and realize prosperity that is shared by the entire nation.

Long live the Republic of Indonesia.
