In March 2025, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in Waingapu City was 2.77%, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) at 109.19.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases, as indicated by the rise in 6 out of 11 expenditure group indexes, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 7.64%; the clothing and footwear group by 3.97%; the household equipment, tools, and routine household maintenance group by 1.11%; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.39%; the education group by 2.91%; and the food and beverage/restaurant services group by 1.11%.
In March 2025, the month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Waingapu City was 1.75%. The year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Waingapu City for March 2025 was 2.40%.
